Welcome to..

Waxworms are the larval stage of the Greater Wax moth. They are an excellent food source for larger tropical fish, amphibians, reptiles, small animals, exotic birds and carnivorous insects. Waxworms are completely digestible, no exoskeleton and high in protein.
When you receive your waxworms, you should immediately remove the lid from the container and allow any condensation that has formed during shipment to dissipate prior to storage. When you are sure they are dry replace the lid.
If you keep the waxworms in a container at 65-70 degrees , they can live for approximately 4-5 weeks. If refrigerated you can add another two weeks to their life span.
If you do refrigerate your waxworms do not take their container out of the fridge for any longer than the time necessary. If you keep them out for long periods condensation will form on the worms and in the cup, causing your worms to die.Do not feed your wasworms. They will not eat if food is offered while in their cups with bedding and the food will only mold and shorten their life span.
